Saucony Originals teamed up with New York Magazine for their first (maybe annual) Indie Rock Trivia Night. The pictures tell a thousand words (mostly about the lack of pants).
Hosted by Zach Galifianakis and graced with a live performance by Les Savvy Fav, the night was a chance for indie rock know-it-alls to go head to head with indie rock know-it-even mores.
Winning teams received free Saucony Jazz Originals as part of their prize packs. So next time you see someone wearing a pair of Jazz O’s (around New York that is), it’s safe to assume they know way more about b-sides to Pavement singles than you ever will (or should).
Not surprisingly, the smarty indie pants over at Stereogum came in first place.
Is that fair?
Eh, who cares…
