I was over in the UK this winter and it was MGMT mania– seriously. Everyone’s house I went to was like “hey, have you heard this band… they’re from Brooklyn. They’re awesome.” Only they didn’t say “awesome” because I learned that English people reserve the word awesome for actual works of God, and not just “awesome” bands.

(Though they do say “brilliant” to agree to things like going to get a drink… Who knew?)

Anyway, they must have thought i was a super fanboy, because upon listening to their debut album, Oracular Spectacular, I was like, “Man, this is AWESOME!”

Anyway, this Sunday MGMT descend from the heavens with Black Moth Super Rainbow and Ting Tings to blow your collective minds.

If that’s not awesome enough, remember that Saucony will be on hand to run the DODGEBALL games, where top players will win free shoes and eternal glory. Plus it’s crazy fun.

Games start at 2:00 pm.
