we arrived early, determined to practice and get good and win tonights Skeeball challenge.

we also practiced looking tuff….. this is bout the best we could do.

from behind we looked much more menicing

and so we Ball’d (skeeballed)

no n, by all means you go first. that way i will now how many points we need to win.

having failed in skeeball we decided to make friends and eat chicken fried bacon.

have eaten some bacon and made some friends…… we tried to win the day by making everyone as cute as us.

as you can see, we ruled at cuteness.

We tossed and we lost, but we didn’t care — Kubb was super fun!
The Hyphen sweeties may look innocent, but their wood-tossing skills are unstoppable.

And now… two stellar Haikus from our very own Game 1 MVP, Mike:
We flung wood at wood
Elmo moons from the castle
But it’s not enough

Sharpshooter woman
She ate our kubbs for dinner
Elmo cried in beer
Once again, drunk good times were had by all!
P.S. Nick was especially excited about our NEW BAR, Cassanova, which has the classiest art collection in San Francisco.

See you at the next and LAST game of the tournament. Sad face.

Last night’s game was all about UNITY and hand-holding! The Revolver dudes flaked, and KQED was down by 6 team members, so we joined forces with the Hyphy Hyphenators in a seriously dangerous game of Capture the Flag.
HYPHQED vs. FROGGERS!

GOOD TIMES!

The KQED crew whiffled once again, this time against the kids from HYPHEN. At first, we were scared of their sweet monogrammed eye patches, but they were NO match for us.
Debbie practiced looking tough and Ifanyi used his magical powers to levitate the bat:

Zaldy forgot his uniform but he’s still the MVP because he created our awesome logo, to be unveiled fashionably late at the CAPTURE THE FLAG match in a couple weeks.

Our victory was glorious!
But the real ACTION happened after the game when Elmo got crunk:

and this guy from the green team had to get his bionic foot patched up:

Despite the injuries, F-U-N was had by all — especially Elmo, who went home with this guy:

Were we upset the other team captured our mascot? Nope, there’s plenty more where he came from. See you in a couple weeks, FROG DESIGN, and beware:
ELMO’S FIRE GONNA GETCHA!
