Am I allowed to pick favorites? To me, nothing (and I mean only a few things) says summertime to me like The Black Lips. There’s a band called “The All Girl Summer Fun Band”– if Black Lips had to change their name, I’d totally recommend the “ALL DOOD SUMMER TOO MUCH FUN BAND.”

I’m serious. Their tunes are so carefree and crazy and catchy and disaster-prone… maybe that’s all contradictory, but i don’t care. It’s going to be 105 degrees, everyone will be happy and wasted and you’ll think “Doooooooooooooooood.”

And yeah, why not come top it off with a trip down memory/concussion lane with a game of Dodgeball?
